Beach Retreat

Interstate clients had pre-ordered a kit assembly from a local supplier. We were approached and asked to convert two bays of the existing design assembly to create a comfortable beachside retreat. With prevailing winds and local environmental conditions the site proposed significant challenges. The selection and development of building systems was critical to the success of the project and was carried out in colaboration with the client and specialist contractors. The finishes were carefully considered to meet the client's practical requirments, whilst acheiving a calm and sophisticated interior for that idyllic escape.
