Child + Family Centre

The design concept was developed to address the identified needs of residents of George Town, Tasmania. The facility provides community health services and training facilities to local families with young children.  Adjunct childcare is available to parents to enable and encourage opportunities for their further education and training, in a secure and welcoming environment. Wrapping around a focal sanctuary, the distinct needs of parent and child are met, whilst maintaining visual proximity and maximising the penetration of natural light and the use of natural ventilation.
