Richard worked as a Project Architect on this project during his time as an Associate at Alan Higgs Architects in London.

Formally a mews this very compact two story attached building was converted to a chic pied-a-terre for London based clients. The constraints of the site resulted in an inverted traditional layout with bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, and kitchenette and living space above. A glass balustrade maximised the penetration of natural light into the entry space, whilst the stairway secretly concealed a laundry facility and technical equipment servicing the underfloor heating.
